Golf Course Visit 9th and 10th July 11-15:00
The developer from the Golf Course Holiday Park (Noel Flanagan from Oakgrove Lodges) has invited anyone from the village who is interested to visit the site to have a tour and meet him. He's arranged two open days on 9th and 10th July between 11 and 3. He's very keen to have the village involved - he mentioned the papers so there may be marketing involved. Greener Great Coxwell PS There is a website faringdongrange.co.uk/ for the Holiday Park here On Sunday Greener Great Coxwell will be adding to the Environmental conversation at the National Trust Family Eco Summit in Coleshill. There is something for everyone from mud kitchens and children’s stories in the organic garden to thought provoking talks about our global food chains from Greenpeace. Ken Hirons will be presenting news of our Community Energy Project, Richard Benwell on Wildlife and Countryside Link and Rachel Wannerton will be helping us find our balance and connection to the earth to start off the day. We will also have fabulous coffee, cake, woodfired pizzas, music, puppet shows, ranger tours and the mill will be open and working. Welcome the new landlords of The Radnor in the beer tent.
What a great day that was yesterday! Days like that don't just happen, they have to be organised, and I would like to say a big thank you to all those who worked so hard to make it such a success. Thank you to those who decorated their tables so beautifully, it all added to fun. And weren't we lucky with the weather.
Very best wishes to everyone Betty Here's a final reminder for the details for Saturday, also if you need to park at the barn please use the field opposite, there will be signs to it.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the people who supported Art Weeks, this is the main Fundraising Event for the Village and it was good to have it back.
A massive thank you to those who worked in the Café and also to those people who provided food, cakes and gave donations to buy food. With all of your help this meant we kept our expenses down to under £100. This resulted in a net profit of £2425.25 which has been paid into the Community Fund. Best Wishes Pam Please let us know if you would like tickets for the Jubilee BBQ on Saturday the 4th June.
We must have final numbers by Thursday 26th May. Tickets from : Pam Rosemary Cottage 240233 Mandy Church Lees 240142 Pauline Oak House 243140 |
