You will be very welcome. You may be aware that Sarah Wyatt, who set up the art club, has sadly left the village for pastures new. However, because we enjoy art club so much, Morgane Tattevin and I have taken over from her with the aim of keeping it ticking along in the same lovely way that Sarah did.
As always, the aim is to create a relaxed, non-judgemental space for people to come along and make their own art and have fun in good company. Sessions are untutored, but create a space where we can share ideas, get inspiration from each other and build a regular art practice so we can improve our art-making skills. There are basic art materials - paper, pencils, a few paints, brushes etc., tea/coffee and good biscuits - so people can get started, however feel free to bring any materials/sketchbooks etc. along that you'd like to use/work on. Where: Reading Room, Great Coxwell. When: 7-9pm, term time only, starting Wednesday 10th September. The initial term will be 6x weeks taking us up to, and including 15th October. Cost: £42 (£7 per session) payable in advance please. If you would be interested in coming along please contact Claire for further details; [email protected] Thank you Claire The next Men's Night will be held in the Reading Room this Thursday August 21st from 7pm to 9pm.
